Welcome to all visitors

Melbourne International Airport is located 22km north-west of the city. It is connected to the city by a tollway and airport shuttle buses, taxis or rental cars are readily available. The links below provide more details on the forms of transport you can take from the airport and also to get around Melbourne for the duration of your stay.

Skybus Information
This page gives information on the private bus service that runs between the Airport and City at regular intervals. Details are given of the route, timetable and fares.

Airport Bus Eastside
This pages provides information and timetables of a shuttle bus service that goes to and from the airport and a number of services pass by Melbourne University.

Meltrip : Melbourne's Integrated Public Transport Website
Meltrip provides information on all regular bus, train and tram services in Melbourne.

Bus Services around Melbourne are run by numerous private bus companies. This link provides a search facility to find the bus route you need. Taxis
The following taxi firms are registered members of the Victorian Taxi Association (03) 9690 0044. All of these companies travel between the city and the airport, but if you are travelling in a specific area you need to call the relevant company. For example : North Suburban Taxis travel mainly within the northern suburbs of Melbourne. If you are unsure you can call any of the Taxi companies or call the Victorian Taxi Association direct and they can give you details on which taxi company to use and where your nearest taxi rank is.
