ATNAC Welcome Reception and Registration

ATNAC will commence with a Welcome Reception on Sunday 3 December 2006, from 6pm in Alto Room, 25th floor of the Langham Hotel, 1 Southgate Avenue, Melbourne. Drinks and finger foods will be provided from 6:30pm. You can register here for the conference to save time on Monday morning.

 

Tour of the NICTA Terabit Networking Laboratory

On Tuesday 5 December, National ICT Australia (NICTA) will be offering tours of its new Terabit Networking Laboratory at The University of Melbourne. NICTA project work will be demonstrated and NICTA researchers will be on hand to discuss their work.

Buses will leave from the Langham Hotel in the afternoon and return delegates to the Langham Hotel later.

 

ISSNIP Sensor Network Workshop

The ARC Research Network on Intelligent Sensors, Sensor Networks and Information Processing (ISSNIP) will conduct an Early Career Researcher (ECR) Workshop on Sensor Networks on Wednesday 6th December in the afternoon.

The ISSNIP Sensor Network Workshop is targeted towards PhD students and recent PhD graduates with a view to generating new research collaborations in the field of sensor networks. In order to facilitate this process a forum is planned where Workshop participants will be given the opportunity to briefly present an overview of their current work and some of its key challenges.
