Electives

• There are 75 points of elective subjects spread throughout the BE degree. Of these 75 points, at least 25 points must be chosen from non-technical subjects, and the remaining 50 points may be chosen from either technical or non-technical subjects, including management subjects and language subjects.

• Recommended technical electives include 200-level Physics or Science Mathematics or Computer Science & Software Engineering subjects. Contact your course advisor if you have any question.

Mathematics options

• Students who have completed the first year Mathematics subjects 620-141 Mathematics A and 620-143 Applied Mathematics may replace both of 431-201 Engineering Analysis A and 431-202 Engineering Analysis B with all three of 620-142 Mathematics B, 620-231 Vector Analysis and 620-232 Mathematical Methods.
