What is Endeavour2004?
Endeavour is an initiative of the
internationally esteemed Department of
Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the University of
Melbourne. Endeavour has been held annually for the last
six years.
The primary objectives of Endeavour2004 are:
-
to provide electrical, software, computer and mechatronics engineering students with the opportunity to showcase their final year research projects;
-
to
promote careers in engineering to tertiary and secondary students through industry interaction and the demonstration of cutting edge engineering;
-
to encourage secondary students to undertake studies in engineering and related disciplines by providing them with information and inspiration;
-
to promote the pursuit of innovation by bringing together current and future students, industry representatives and the general public; and
- to
encourage awareness and appreciation of the technological achievements of Australian engineers amongst the wider community.

Endeavour2004 will culminate in a
public exhibition showcasing final year projects of electrical,
software, computer and mechatronics engineering students from the University
of Melbourne. These students are amongst
Australia's most talented and the projects are at the
forefront of cutting edge technology. This exhibition will be
held on Wednesday 27 October 2004 and is open to the
general public between 10.00am and 4.30pm - entry is free! Click

Endeavour is not only one of Australia’s premier student
technology exhibitions, but encompasses a range of related

A
series of lectures hosted by Endeavour2004 for engineering
students at the University of Melbourne. Invitations will be
sent by email.
