The Endeavour2004 Exhibition

The Endeavour2004 Exhibition will showcase 51 final year projects of electrical, software, computer and mechatronics engineering students from the University of Melbourne. The exhibition will be held on Wednesday 27 October 2004 at the University of Melbourne's Wilson Hall.

The exhibition will be open to the general public between 10.00am and 4.30pm and during these times entry is free! In 2003, over 2500 guests viewed the exhibition. Endeavour2004 will also run several programs, Endeavour Adventure, Endeavour Encounter and Endeavour Experience, to provide structured exhibition programs for specific sections of the community.

In the evening, key government members and prominent industry leaders will attend the Endeavour Excellence Awards, an invitation only event. Following a cocktail party and keynote speaker address, prizes are presented to students and the exhibition remains open for viewing.

Endeavour Adventure

Endeavour Adventure is an excursion opportunity for secondary school students. The program includes organised tours of the University of Melbourne's laboratories and the Endeavour2004 exhibition. There is an emphasis on encouraging students to question and talk with project participants.

Endeavour Adventure is an opportunity for interaction between current and prospective students. It is a fantastic chance to demonstrate the relevance of an engineering degree and the exciting opportunities that it can provide.

Endeavour Encounter

Endeavour Encounter targets engineering students at universities across Victoria. Groups of students are invited to the University of Melbourne to view the Endeavour2004 exhibition.

This program aims to bring together the next generation of engineers. By encouraging interaction, students will be both impressed and inspired by the achievements of their peers.

Endeavour Experience

Endeavour Experience provides senior citizens with the formal opportunity to attend the exhibition. Guests are given the opportunity to ask questions about the process and technology behind the innovation.

Endeavour Experience aims to bridge the gap between age and technology. In doing so, it raises the awareness of engineering achievements within the wider community.
