Answers to these questions and more all come under the discipline of electrical engineering. In a world of rapid change, electrical engineers are leading the pack in introducing new technology and innovation. As an electrical engineer, you can specialize in wireless communications, voice recognition, biomedical engineering, digital systems, power systems, the list goes on.
A degree in electrical engineering will open the door to these many exciting career opportunities. Staff at the

At the exhibition, you will get to see over 50 demonstrations of final year projects from electrical, software, computer and mechatronics engineering students. It is a great way to find out what university students get up to, and what you will be expected to achieve if you undertake an engineering degree at the University of Melbourne.
School Presentations
We understand that the transition between school to university can be bewildering – hey, we were once at school too! Through school presentations from student representatives of the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, you will find out more about our course and will have the chance to discuss university life with current tertiary students.
Schools Competition
The Endeavour Adventure Schools Competition has now
closed. Thank you to all those who entered. The
competition will be drawn on Wednesday 27 October and winners
will be notified by their school.
