Congratulations to all the Endeavour2005 teams for successfully completing your final year projects.
In particular, well done to the members of LA1, SD4, GP2, CL1, JE4 and Team F for your prize winning projects. We wish you all the best of luck in your future endeavours.
Final Written Report
Written reports must be handed in to the General Office before 5:00pm on Monday 31st October.
The reports will be assessed by considering:
- Analytical skills;
- Presentation skills and clarity;
- Correctness of technical details and quality of contents;
- Knowledge of prior work by others in the area;
- Appropriate referencing.
Only one written report is required for each group however two copies of this report must be submitted. For one or two person projects the report should not exceed 50 pages excluding appendices. For groups of three or more the report should not exceed 75 pages excluding appendices. In both cases the report should include an abstract, a one-page list of the main contributions and achievements, an introduction, a main body, conclusions, references and appendices (if necessary). The report should use 12-point font, 1.5 spacing, and be single-column, with 2 cm margins on all sides. All reference material should be properly referenced - see e.g. IEEE Transactions for an appropriate style.

Exhibition
The Endeavour2005 Exhibition will take place on Wednesday October 26. Endeavour2005 is a project day/night where projects are demonstrated to other students, staff, and industry representatives. On this day, you are required to provide a project demonstration and/or a poster presentation depending on the type of project that you have undertaken.

Oral Presentation
Oral presentations will take place in the weeks beginning October 10 and October 17. Each group will have 20 minutes (strict maximum), plus 5 minutes for questions. All members of the group should contribute roughly equally to the presentation. The venue is the board room in 3rd floor EEE building.

Project Labs Closure
In order to prepare PCs and required equipment for the Endeavour2005 exhibition the 4th year Project Labs will be closed the two days leading up to the exhibition, Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th October. Thus, it is essential that all project work to be done in the labs is completed by Friday 21st October.
All PCs and requested equipment should be set up in Wilson Hall and ready for you to configure by 2pm on Tuesday 25th October. You will then have until 8pm to ensure that your exhibit is ready for opening at 10am the next day.
