Majid is a PhD student since 2013 and is a member of future grid laboratory in the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering at The University of Melbourne.

Majid received his Bachelor of Engineering in 2008 in Electrical Engineering (Power) at the University of Yazd in 2008 and a Master of Engineering (Electrical-Power) in 2011 completed at University Technology of Malaysia (UTM).

Majid has been working in the industry for several years. He was a Manager of Technical and Engineering Department at S.E.E 1999 from 2012 to 2013.  He has worked as a Researcher Officer in Centre for Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (CAIRO) in 2012.  He had the role of Electrical Engineering Technician at Rasa Electrical Industry Co. for about three-year commenced in 2006. He was a committee member of the Iranian National Electrical Committee, IEC committee 82 Iran Chapter in 2012, IEEE and IEEE power and energy society since 2010.
