Melbourne School of Engineering
Electrical and Electronic Engineering

Master of Engineering (Electrical)

The professional Master of Engineering has been developed with three types of students in mind:

  1. students articulating from New Generation Bachelor of Commerce or Bachelor of Science degrees at the University of Melbourne, with a major or sequence in Electrical Systems;
  2. engineering graduates without internationally recognised professional accreditation; and
  3. non-engineering graduates with an appropriate maths and science background who want to study and
    qualify as a professionally accredited engineer.

On completion, graduates may practice as electrical engineers and/or work in research and development-related roles. Equally, they may apply their strengths in analysis and mathematics to fields such as management, finance and banking.
