How to apply
Interested in postgraduate research degrees in Electrical and Electronic Engineering? Fill out an online
Expression Of Interest form.
You need to make a formal application to be considered for entry and scholarships.
Our website at http://www.ee.unimelb.edu.au/ contains most of the information
on postgraduate study in the Electrical Engineering Department. You will need a number of documents to accompany the
application, so, if you apply online you will need to send these documents separately.
You can find out the research activities of our academic staff on our website. You are encouraged to contact potential
supervisors before submitting an application as this will give you a better idea of our research activities and the
research interests of potential supervisors. A list of staff which links to information about each staff member's
research activities is at EE staff list.

To apply to become a student at Melbourne University, you can either do this online or download an application form at

or we can send an information pack to you which contains an application form. If you want the pack please send your
postal address to
International students do not need to apply separately for scholarships, however, if you wish to apply the deadline
for scholarship applications each year is 31 August for International students. Scholarships and other information is
available at http://cms.services.unimelb.edu.au/scholarships/pgrad.
Please note there are various closing dates for such scholarships.
Local students need to make a separate application for scholarships. This has to be completed online at the scholarships
office web site which is at: http://cms.services.unimelb.edu.au/scholarships/pgrad.
Follow the link to apply on line. The deadline for local scholarship applicants is October 31 each year.
