The $10,000 Eckerman - TJA Prize:
The Broadband for Environment Sustainability Challenge

On 20 August Senator Stephen Conroy, Minister for Broadband, Communications and the Digital Economy, launched the Alcatel Lucent 2008 Broadband Challenge for the Sustainability Environment, which
sponsors the $10,000 Eckermann-TJA Prize, awarded to the best paper offered to the Telecommunications Journal of Australia on the theme of applying broadband telecommunications to deliver significant benefits to environmental sustainability. Entries closed on 6 October.

The best papers for 2008 will be published in TJA
