Photonics and Electronics Research Lab
The Photonics and Electronics Laboratory is exploring new frontiers in electronics and photonics towards the development of novel devices, subsystems, and systems for emerging applications.
Building on our strengths in design, analysis and integration of systems-on-chips to large scale systems, our research is seeking solutions to interesting problems from a range of industry sectors such as telecommunications, biomedical engineering, defence, intelligent transport systems and instrumentation. We are building radars-on-chips, wireless systems-on-chips, developing nano electronic devices and sensors, designing high capacity energy efficient optical communication systems and developing instrumentation for high frequency measurement and imaging applications.
We foster an active collaboration with industry, leading international institutions and research laboratories.
