High-Speed Antenna Design
Although the advances in semiconductor technologies at mm-wave frequencies reduced technology deployment cost, a wide range of technical problems remain to be solved for new consumer electronics within the scope of antennas and propagation. Research in the field of mm-wave antenna design, integration and packaging solutions enables efficient and low cost wireless technologies such as automotive radar at 76–77 GHz and 60 GHz wireless personal area network (WPAN) applications. Our project designs and investigates the optimal antenna designs and integration strategies at mm-wave frequencies.
