Signal, Sensors and Scheduling Workshop
Signals, Sensors and Scheduling is a tutorial workshop to be held simultaneously in both Adelaide and Melbourne on 18, 19, 20 December 2006.
Researchers at the forefront of research in signal processing and sensor management will give short series of seminars.
Using teleconferencing facilities at the South Australian Virtual Reality Centre, The University of Adelaide and at the Fritz Loewe Theatre, The University of Melbourne, we aim to have sessions of 2-3 hours each from 7 world class researchers, with half of them located in each of the two venues. There will also be time for interaction and discussion within the program.
The intended audience is research scientists, mathematicians, and engineers working in signal processing and related areas, or applying signal processing techniques in other areas of science.
The content of the seminars will be accessible to graduate students in science and engineering.
The number of places is restricted by the size of the venues so early registration is encouraged to secure a place.
